We recommend that riders perform a quick check of the bike using the CLUTCH acronym during their ride:
Additionally, we ask that you monitor the oil levels and overall condition of the bike. If the chain becomes overly slack, we recommend stopping by the garage (if local), going to a service center, or carrying your own tools for adjustment. If you notice low oil, an index card with details about the oil type and quantity is provided, along with other key information such as recommended tire pressures, fuel capacity, and torque specifications.
Riding in Colorado offers breathtaking views and diverse terrain, but it also comes with some unique challenges. The state's high elevation can affect both you and the bike, especially in mountain passes, where air is thinner and temperatures can drop unexpectedly. We recommend staying hydrated, using sunscreen to protect your skin from intense sun exposure, and applying lip balm to keep your lips from drying out. For the dry environment, nasal spray can help keep your nose comfortable during long rides. Always be prepared for rapid changes in weather and the impact of the altitude on both your performance and the bike's.
Yes, we offer bike delivery and pickup within a 25-mile radius of the 80922 zip code from the beginning of April to the end of September. This service is available for a small additional fee, which is listed on the bike's Riders Share and Twisted Road listing. The service is limited to two bikes per delivery. We're planning to expand this offering to all year round and extend the delivery range in the near future, so stay tuned for updates!
