Union Jack Moto offers self-guided motorcycle rides through some of Colorado’s most stunning landscapes, tailored for riders of all experience levels. After purchasing one of our self-guided tours, you’ll receive a REVER link to the route within one business day, complete with downloadable GPX data for your navigation. If you're not already a REVER user, they offer a 14-day free trial to help you get started. Along with the route, we’ll highlight many of the attractions you’ll pass, including some of our personal favorites. If any stops require fees or reservations, we’ll provide the necessary details and links for easy access. While most of our rides are designed for basic-level riding, the varied terrain and winding roads offer excitement for all skill levels, especially when paired with the breathtaking views. We recommend bringing sunscreen and staying hydrated, as many of the routes reach elevations of 10,000 feet or higher, where the cool, dry air can catch you off guard. Please note that Union Jack Moto cannot control weather or road conditions, though we actively monitor them during our weekly rides from March to October. We strongly suggest checking the weather and gathering up-to-date route information from Colorado’s road departments before setting out on your adventure.
This route from Union Jack Moto is perfect for a day of adventure with plenty of flexibility to stretch into a two-day journey. You’ll start by riding to a stunning park filled with red rock formations, followed by a stop in charming small towns where you can grab breakfast, sip coffee, browse local shops, or take a quick hike to a waterfall. Heading up a mountain pass, you’ll pass iconic attractions, offering opportunities to explore caverns or even head up a famous peak. After a scenic ride through mountain terrain, you’ll reach a historic town full of gold mine tours, train rides, casinos, and plenty of lunch options. From there, the ride continues to a quaint, antique-filled town, with an option to stop by a popular gorge and swimming hole. The route then brings you to a scenic overlook of a world-famous bridge and park, where you can explore even more if you wish. Afterward, you’ll experience a breathtaking ridge road that winds into a historic city, offering views of a river and railroad from a small park loop. Finally, the day wraps up with a ride back to Colorado Springs for dinner in the downtown area. This paved route covers just under 190 miles with over 5 hours of riding time, not including stops. With sightseeing, it can easily take all day—or even turn into a two-day adventure if you want to pack in more attractions. After a quick turn, the route takes you up a winding mountain road, offering breathtaking overlooks, then into a charming mountain town where the scenery is nothing short of spectacular. As you descend through a beautiful mountain pass, you’ll journey through quaint towns filled with shops, restaurants, and spots perfect for a hike. Just under 95 miles and over 4 hours of ride time, this route offers a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, with plenty of opportunities to stop and explore along the way. If you choose to enter the national park area, there is a $4 cash fee for motorcycles, or $10 if paid at the kiosk. We don’t rate the difficulty of our rides, as every rider's experience is unique. The full route is just under 140 miles and offers around 4 hours of pure riding time, perfect for riders looking to explore a mix of terrain and discover new places. Union Jack Moto offers guided motorcycle rides through the breathtaking landscapes of Colorado, designed to accommodate riders of all experience levels. Due to high demand for individual bike rentals, we currently offer guided tours for those riding their own motorcycles. Our guided rides will take you through scenic routes, showcasing some of the best terrain and views the state has to offer. We respect our neighbors, wildlife, and are committed to promoting a safe motorcycle culture. With that in mind, all rides will adhere to posted roadway signage to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
As these are group rides, we strive to create a comfortable atmosphere for all participants, no matter their skill level. We closely monitor weather and road conditions and will adjust the ride as needed for safety. Should the ride need to be canceled before starting due to weather or unforeseen road conditions, we offer a full refund. If the ride is partially completed before issues arise, we provide a pro-rated refund based on the portion completed.
We highly recommend sunscreen and hydration for all rides, as many routes climb to 10,000 feet or higher, where the cool, dry conditions can be deceiving. Our goal is to provide an unforgettable adventure while ensuring everyone feels safe and welcome.
